The Larry Caroon Award is the most distinguished award presented by the GTOA. Larry made a tremendous impact on the GTOA as a football official for twelve years. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 46. The GTOA proudly honors his memory every year by presenting this prestigious award.

Don Thomas Newcomer of the Year

This award is presented to an official within the first three (3) years of their football officiating career with the GTOA. The development crew monitors all of the rookie officials' progress throughout these first years and determines who among them shows outstanding effort and ability.

GTOA Hall of Fame

After a long and distinguished career, many of our officials have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. It not only takes having the skills to be an official to get here, but it requires, effort, faith, heart, determination, ability and contribution. Many of the officials listed have touched our officiating lives at some point and have provided positive direction and support in an effort to make us all better officials.
