2021 Off-Season Training Opportunities - *** PLEASE READ (COVID-19) ***
*** UPDATE 2/9/21 ***
The off-season is the best time to focus on improving as an official. In the off-season we have time to focus on the details of our craft. 2020 was a tough year in many ways and our training as officials suffered as well. With that in mind we have put together some training opportunities for the off-season starting in this month (click the link directly below for details). These meetings will be position specific and will be lead by some very special guests. If you attend one of these sessions you will get credit towards the GTOA Meeting Requirements. These meetings will focus on NFHS/OSSAA Mechanics, Philosophies and Rules by using video and discussion.
In accordance with the City of Tulsa Ordinance masks will be required and we will practice social distancing as much as possible. In order to maintain the crowd we ask that you only come to your position specific meeting. (See GTOA Events Calendar below for details)
Live with integrity. Serve with enthusiasm. Give with generosity. Succeed with humility.
New OOA Officiating Shirts Are Now Available
The new OOA officiating shirts are now available from two vendors: Referee's Call and Official's Locker. These shirts will be required for the 2020 OSSAA Playoff Series this year, but will not be mandatory for regular season games for 2020.
